High Sierra

I am running Envision problem free on 10.12.6. OSX is bugging me about upgrading. Any reported issues with 10.13.5? With deadlines I can't have an OS update cause Envision to start bugging out on me! I can go with out 10.13.5 for now if there are known problems.

Thanks, Ryan

Re: Turn Performer over "X" counts

No problem, easy to do. Select the performers you want to execute the turn. For this to be stationary turn, you will need to use two sets (or subset). Make sure the performers are in the same dot from (as an example) set 1 to set 2 (or 1A). Go to the performance detail tool. From there you can chang...

Re: Ultimate Drill Book

I was tempted to try going with Drill Book Next instead of physical dot books this season. We may still pilot it with a few kids. The positives are that kids will never forget their phone, while dot books aren't always a priority. It is quicker and doesn't not require the set up time with the handwr...

Ultimate Drill Book

My staff and I, while watching our band struggle to put together their dot books, were talking about the possibility of using something like ultimate drill book. Expensive but maybe worth it. This is of course only available with Pyware. I wonder if there is another similar option that is compatible...

Re: Excluding Halt Sets from Dot Sheets

I concur that it would be nice to have a "hide from dot sheet" option for subsets, regardless of whether they are halts or not.

Some of my students, especially the rookies, get confused by the sets that don't concern them. If they could be hidden, would make learning easier.

Re: File Size

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I will definitely give this a try.

Interesting way to bypass the sync feature as well.

File Size

Has anyone tried using Envision as one .drl file for an entire show? I wonder if this would be too large of a file and if it would cause slowness or other issues.

Sometime making edits across different production files can be difficult and confusing.

Update to El Capitan

I'm running OSX Yosemite now, and Envision works beautifully. I would like to update to El Capitan to take advantage of the split screen capability, but I am worried that this may cause issues with Envision. I am running: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) 2.6 GHz Core i7 8GB Ram 1GB graphic memory Any...

Huge Glitch

My opener was just saved over as the beginning of my third production, which I was just starting. I was using the production manager to create the new file, and then when I went back to open the .drl file for the first production, it was the exact same file as the third production. Please don't tell...

Drag Step

Hello, I'm going to be dealing with some 7/8 bars. I was curious of what others may have found to be the best way to handle a drag step. They are 12 count sets, with every third step being the drag step. When I sync the music, I assume it will work but look slightly out of time. Not a problem, but I...
