Startup Crash Issue (Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8)

I downloaded the demo version of your software and upon attempting to start the application for the first time, I receive the following error message as it immediately crashes:

The resulting obligatory Google search returns a couple results pointing to a compilation problem as opposed to an execution problem. See this link as reference to one of my resolution efforts:

Hopefully you will be able to quickly recompile a fix in a Leopard-friendly manner. If not, I will not be able to use your software.
