Glitch with Rotation Tool

Post by bis4brass »

Sometimes when I use the rotation tool, odd things happen. See attachment.

I am running OSX 10.10.2.

Thanks. I really like the features of the latest update, btw.

Update:

The location where the rotation appears to be happening is actually the location of the performers on set 1. I canceled the rotation tool and snapped to set 1.

Totally agree! I've used the keyboard shortcuts to navigate between sets literally hundreds of times already. And I've used the arrow keys to nudge performers around a number of times. And the color-coded paths, showing step size, are very useful as well.

Hi bis4brass,

Thank you for brining this to our attention. Opening the Rotation or Follow the Leader tools should move the current count so we are on a set or subset. This also highlighted another issue in that performers are not added to the nearest subset if you wanted to rotate from there, it would create a rotation based on the previous set which is probably not what was intended. These issues will be addressed in the next release.

And thank you for the praise! Its good to know that our efforts aren't going to waste.

Have a great day!
William
