Lighting does nothing

In View -> Lighting, no lighting effects are applied. Not sure if this is just not implemented, a bug, or I'm missing something.

Admittedly the effect isn't very large, but it does do something. Try zooming in on a performer so you get a nice closeup shot of them, then turn lighting on and off, you should be able to see the effect then.
